Homeowner Estimates
Our homeowner estimates are prepared by our team of licensed certified adjusters / estimators. Our team is fully trained and experienced in the proper estimating techniques needed to accurately scope the damage, create a sketch of the damaged property and write an estimate of repairs. We are experienced in all types of losses, whether it is fire / smoke, wind / hail, or water damage; we are capable of creating the proper estimate of repair. Our estimates are based on what can be seen at the time of the inspection and never what can’t be seen. We make it our goal to complete every estimate on site and to spend the extra time needed to ensure accuracy in all areas of the loss. Once the estimate is completed all documentation i.e. photos, sketch, estimate of damage and notes are completed normally within 72 hours of the claim receipt. of relaxed comfort for the horses and people who inhabit our facility.
Auto Estimates
Our automobile estimates are completed by our fully trained staff of licensed adjusters / appraisers. Our staff has the knowledge and experience to complete a proper estimate of visible damage using the most cost effective repair techniques in the industry today. All of our estimates are completed using the most recent computer technology / estimating system available in the market place. We also offer Diminished Value evaluations and total loss values. It is our goal to complete all estimates on site and within 72 hours of claim receipt.
Heavy Equipment (Commercial and Farm)
Due to the years of experience of our staff we are able to offer damage estimates for commercial equipment as well as farm equipment. The ability to look at the damage of this type of equipment and discuss it with the repair facility is something that we have developed over a long period of time. We are able to get agreed appraisals of damage with the repair facilities because of the relationships we have cultivated and established with them over the years.
Personal Watercraft, Boats and Motorcycles
Due to the nature of our society the demand for precise estimating services on personal watercraft, boats and motorcycles is becoming more and more prevalent. Due to this demand we at Doug Baker and Company, Inc. have made it a priority to become more skilled in this area. Our electronic estimating systems allow us to have the current pricing and labor rates for motorcycle estimates just as it does for the automotive repair estimates. And just like the relationships with our heavy equipment repair facilities, we have continued to develop relationships with our personal watercraft and boat repair facilities in order to stay abreast of the most current technologies and repair process for these vessels.

There are times when no estimate of damage is needed but there is still a need for some investigation that can’t be done from the desk. For those times we here at Doug Baker and Company, Inc. offer the following investigation services.
